Timber Frame Estate in Scotland

DSB Premier Construction was appointed to deliver a 15-home timber-frame estate in the scenic and often unpredictable terrain of Perthshire, Scotland. Designed as a series of bespoke residential properties, each home required a balance of durability, speed, and design precision to meet the client’s vision and timeline.
One of the key challenges was the remote location. Limited site access and frequent weather disruptions meant that traditional construction approaches would not meet the programme. To overcome this, we set up and managed a dedicated on-site timber frame workshop—fully signed off by a structural engineer—allowing us to fabricate and assemble key elements with efficiency and control.
Our team implemented a detailed delivery and storage strategy, ensuring that materials arrived safely and on time, despite the access constraints. By using prefabricated framing systems, we were able to streamline the build process without compromising on quality or finish.
The result was a highly coordinated build, delivered ahead of schedule and fully compliant with all building regulations and performance standards. Each home stands as a reflection of technical skill and adaptability, delivered in line with DSB’s commitment to precision and performance.
